It's been a long time since I updated this journal. Just wanted to make a note of what I have been doing.

Started my own business: Creative Swirl I am a corporate web designer with over 5 years experience. Time to really promote my skills in my own business.

The fine art has been sent to the backburner for a long time. Likely will stay there unless someone really wants some work done.

Its Sunday today and I am relaxing after a week of hard work. I am still unemployed officially but I create web sites for various reasons. This week I was asked to create a web site for a historic home tour that is held yearly. My compensation was a free ad in their brochure handed out to every person that comes for the tour. They expect about 2000 people as they have done this tour since 1974. So it is good exposure. This coming week I have 2 meetings with nonprofits for my volunteering of web design for them. A couple of freinds of mine invited me to start a business with them so I also have the web site for that to design and the initial web design for our first client as well.

Thus today is my relax day. I know this week will be busy.

Just got back to updating. I am having some difficulties with getting the images in a larger format. It either allows me to have the large format which is out of focus when small as a thumbnail everywhere or it lets me have the thumbnail size which is clear but small. I can't seem to get it to load both versions. I have emailed deviantart guys for some help. Hopefully it will get fixed and you can see better larger versions of the work.

Hoping to be able to get a digital camera of my own someday when I am not unemployed so that I can take more pictures. So far its either scanned on the scanner when small enough or pictures taken when I had access to a family or previous employer's camera.
